Shambhala Buddhism is an international community of practitioners of meditation. The Brighton Shambhala Buddhist Meditation Group offers meditation instruction, courses as well as weekend programmes in Buddhism and the meditative arts. We meet at Yoga Haven in Brighton and Hove. On Monday nights from 7:45 we meet for 'Just Sitting'. An evening of walking and sitting meditation according to the teachings of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. On the first Monday of every month we hold an evening for newcomers with an introduction to meditation practice. We also meet on Thursdays for courses on Meditation, Buddhism and contemplative arts (see below). Please check out Calendar.
